Improve the view
Position cameras around the hoist, landing or agreed operating area.
Bring camera views and relevant site information closer to the people who need them.
SYREX’s work with construction hoists has developed through a continuing relationship with Brogan Group. Camera systems have been extended with PTZ views and anemometer information to support visibility of hoist operation and conditions.
Position cameras around the hoist, landing or agreed operating area.
Make relevant views and wind information accessible through the agreed arrangement.
Review mounting, cabling and views as the construction programme develops.
Agree the required view with the operating team. Mounting positions, movement, vibration and changing site obstructions influence what a camera can usefully show.
Consider the operator display, local recording and remote access separately. The right information needs to reach the right person without making the operating position harder to use.
Where anemometer information is included, define the display and alarm requirements with the responsible team. Camera and wind information support operation; they do not replace the lifting plan or competent operating decisions.

The Brogan Group hoist system brings camera views, PTZ operation and wind information to the operating team and the client.
Mounting, cables, communications and the view at the operating position all influence how useful that information becomes.
The system is designed around the hoist or crane environment and the information requested by the responsible site team. Cameras and wind information support awareness; they do not replace the equipment manufacturer’s operating instructions, lift planning or the decisions of the competent operator.
Overall, we have found this to be an innovative, reliable, and user-friendly smart hoist system.
Have a specific site or building in mind? Start with a conversation.
Talk to the teamAnemometer information can form part of a defined hoist system. Sensor position, display, alerts and responsibility for operating limits need to be agreed.
Thermal imaging can be assessed where it meets an identified site requirement. Camera selection and coverage follow the application rather than a standard package.
A camera count is not a security design. Coverage, recording and response have to work together.
Build the connections that security systems depend on.
Support the cameras, recording and connections after the installation is complete.
Tell us the location, the task and the timescale. We’ll connect you with the relevant team.
