See the right detail
Define the purpose of each view before selecting the camera and position.
A camera count is not a security design. Coverage, recording and response have to work together.
We begin with what you need to see, the risks you need to manage and the people who will use the system. Camera positions, lenses, lighting, network capacity and recording are then developed as one design. Our construction work includes Project Vista, 99 City Road and Bermondsey Place.
Define the purpose of each view before selecting the camera and position.
Plan recording, storage, time settings and user access around the operational need.
Allow for commissioning, handover, maintenance and changes to the layout.
An overview of a compound and a view intended to identify a person require different levels of detail. Establish the task for each scene before choosing the lens, position and recording settings.
Lighting, glare, movement, weather and temporary obstructions can change the usefulness of a camera. Assess the installed view in the conditions in which it will be relied upon.
Agree retention, playback, export and user permissions. The operator should be able to find and retrieve a recording, with suitable control over access to personal information.

A long perimeter, a busy gate and a hoist landing present different challenges. We assess viewing distance, light, obstructions, mounting, power and connectivity. The same attention goes into the equipment cabinet and the recording settings. Commissioning checks the whole route from the camera to the person using the footage.

Talk to the teamYes. We assess the existing cameras, recording, network and access arrangements before defining an upgrade. Reusing equipment depends on its condition and suitability.
Equipment is selected for the project. Dahua and Johnson Controls technology are part of the manufacturer conversation; compatibility and the client’s procurement requirements influence the final design.
Connect an alert to verification, escalation and a record your team can use.
Build the connections that security systems depend on.
Support the cameras, recording and connections after the installation is complete.
Secure off-site storage in SYREX’s data centre, with capacity, access and retention planned around your operation.
Tell us the location, the task and the timescale. We’ll connect you with the relevant team.
